Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises – Economic Times

NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:14AM

KIOCL(up 3.56%), Pokarna(up 2.63%), Ashapura Minechem(up 2.10%), Coal India(up 1.86%), 20 Microns(up 1.62%), MOIL(up 1.02%), Aro Granite Industries(up 0.73%),

Dvpt Corporation(up 0.72%) and Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.33%) were among the top gainers.

NMDC Ltd(down 0.04%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 171.6 points up at 17484.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 531.19 points at 58503.81 at around 10:14AM.

Bajaj Finserv(up 4.37%), Bajaj Finance(up 3.14%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.98%), Shree Cement(up 2.85%),

& Special Economic Zone(up 2.74%), Tata Motors(up 2.54%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.47%), UltraTech Cement(up 2.26%), State Bank of India(up 2.2%) and Maruti Suzuki(up 2.14%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel(down 0.78%) and Reliance Industries(down 0.37%) were trading in the red.
