Indices: Inventory market replace: Nifty Auto index falls 0.7% – Financial Occasions

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a damaging notice on Monday.

Shares of TIINDIA(up 4.08 per cent), Ashok Leyland(up 1.06 per cent) and Eicher Motors(up 0.71 per cent) ended the day as prime gainers within the pack.

The Nifty Auto index closed 0.7 per cent down at 10754.7.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 56.65 factors at 15350.15, whereas the BSE Sensex stood up 237.42 factors at 51597.84.
